Kaitlynn Gambier graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing, and she concurrently earned a Durham College French Certificate. She volunteered in a variety of roles for numerous clubs and associations. These included President of the UOIT Marketing Association for a two-year term, President of the Model United Nations Club, Orientation Captain and also FBIT Faculty Representative for the 2013 Graduating Class Challenge, Co-Chair of the Conquering the Elements Case Competition, Vice-President of Marketing for the UOIT Women in Business Club, Vice-President of Scholarship and also Delta Co-ordinator for Alpha Gamma Delta. She also held two on-campus positions - Generation-First Peer Mentor and Social Media Project Intern.
Today, Kaitlynn owns and operates her own business, Sophistikaited Solutions, which offers services such as marketing and social media management to small businesses and non-profits throughout Durham Region. She also serves as the Philanthropy Co-ordinator for the Durham Region Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, where she is currently organizing a team for the upcoming CIBC Run for the Cure. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her volunteer work. Kaitlynn is currently pursuing her Spanish Certificate from Durham College, as she is passionate about languages and culture, and she also hopes to pursue a Master of Business Administration in the future. She has seen success in alumni associations and the value that they bring to their members and school communities through her experiences as a member within her high school and sorority associations.
Kaitlynn would like to contribute her non-profit, leadership and marketing experience to the UOIT Alumni Association, helping the organization continue to grow to meet alumni needs.
