For mentors

As a StAMP mentor, you can share your academic and career experiences to help a student or fellow alumnus or alumna achieve his or her professional goals - while you enjoy a rewarding volunteer experience and build relationships within the university community.

Who can be a mentor?
  • Graduates of UOIT
  • Non-UOIT graduates who have been selected to participate in Alumni and Advancement programs by the univeristy

How do I register to be a mentor?

Step 1: Complete mandatory online training (don't worry - it's fast and simple).

Step 2: Create your mentor profile in the Alumni Directory.

Step 3: Stay connected. After creating your mentor profile, a mentee is then able to request you as a mentor; this request is sent via e-mail notification.
