Volunteer

There are many ways alumni can stay connected and engage in ways that are the most meaningful to you.

UOIT alumni have a lot to offer. When you share your time and talents, not only do you build closer ties with other alumni, faculty, and the UOIT community, but you also gain opportunities to network with people who share a common experience or interest.

The Alumni office has volunteer opportunities to suit every interest and time commitment, from serving as a mentor or member of the Alumni Association Council to assisting with special events.

Alumni represent key partners in helping students pursue their passions. Whether connecting students with opportunities in the marketplace, funding a summer internship experience, making a gift or becoming a mentor, your assistance will have a lasting impact on a student’s success during and after university. Here’s how you can help:

Volunteer at a variety of events, fairs and workshops,
Share your story by submitting a profile to be included in our online magazine, Connected.
Post jobs to hire students for internships and/or co-ops, new graduates and other alumni.

Let's make history! Graduating students from all faculties are invited to be a part of the official class of 2018 photo. You can also have a free professional photo taken for LinkedIn and receive great profile advice from Career Centre staff. Enjoy a fun treat while you receive some valuable advice!
