Champion your alma mater

We know you have a lot to offer. When you share your time and talents, not only do you build closer ties with other alumni, faculty, and the university community, but you also gain opportunities to network with people who share a common experience or interest. The Alumni office has volunteer opportunities to suit every interest and time commitment within its Alumni Champion program.

Some of the current Alumni Champion opportunities include:

Special Events

Network and reconnect with your faculty and speak with prospective, future and current students about what life is like at UOIT at on- and off-campus events. Roles may include representing the university at the Ontario Universities Fair, participating in community partner events or helping run Alumni office information booths at service fairs, iBegin or an Open House.

Social Media Advocates

Are you Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram savvy? Do you have a large following online? If so, this is the role for you! Get insider information about alumni benefits, discounts, and programs before anyone else while helping grow our channels by posting and sharing key messages and information within your social networks.

Alumni office advisors

Impact the development of Alumni office initiatives and programs by providing valuable advice and feedback. Alumni office advisors are a diverse group of alumni who help drive meaningful conversations about alumni engagement. Graduates from all backgrounds and levels of success are encouraged to apply.
